Urban Development Policy Making

This journal is published by the Tehran Municipality Higher Education and Applied Sciences Institute, focusing on policy-making, management, and urban planning. Authors are required to submit their articles electronically via the "Article Submission" page and follow the peer review process. Submitted articles will undergo a thorough review; upon approval and necessary revisions, they will be published. The journal's policy is to expedite the peer review process to ensure that reviewers’ feedback is communicated to authors as quickly as possible.

The Urban Development Policy Making (UDPM) Journal is an academic publication that, after publishing four issues, will attain an official ranking from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology in the year 2025.

Similarity checking (plagiarism detection) for articles is conducted through the Samim Noor system.

Peer review, editing, and layout for all accepted articles are provided free of charge.

All submitted articles will be screened for similarity before the peer review process using the similarity detection systems Hamiyab (SinaWeb) and Samim Noor. The journal adheres to the ethical standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Please note that the novelty of the articles, solid theoretical foundations, comprehensive background research, proper discussion, adherence to the journal's formatting guidelines, and accurate referencing are highly important for the review and acceptance process.
