The Scientific Journal of Urban Progress Policymaking is published to enhance knowledge in the interdisciplinary fields of urban management and planning, as well as new sciences such as smart technologies and the use of artificial intelligence in urban advancements, with platinum open access, is published by the University of Applied Sciences and Technology of Tehran Municipality.
The peer-review process in this journal is fully open, allowing reviewers to see the names of the authors, and the journal adheres to the ethical principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and, is published under the Creative Commons License 4.0 (CC-BY).
This journal aims to serve as a scientific platform for publishing research findings and contribute to expanding theoretical and practical areas of urban and regional policy-making and planning. Our main goal is to facilitate knowledge-based dialogue among managers, researchers, specialists, and policymakers to understand better and solve the complex and emerging issues that cities, especially in Iran and Tehran, face.
The first electronic issue of this journal will be related to the winter of 2024 and will be published in April 2025, the journal will follow a quarterly publication cycle.
